The petitioner seeks bail in Patrakarnagar P.S. Case No.1059 of 2019, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The petitioner along with Deepak Kumar and Rohit Kumar was arrested with a Scooty bearing Registration No.BR01CH-3048 and on search, 15 bottles of Imperial Blue foreign liquor each containing 375 ml. were recovered. The house of Mantu Kumar @ Mantu Sahni was also searched and from there 270 litres of foreign liquor was recovered.

Considering the facts that the petitioner and two others was carrying only 5.6 litres of foreign liquor and one of the co-accused, Deepak Kumar has already been granted bail,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13089 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 petitioner, namely, Shiv Pujan Kumar is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Patrakarnagar P.S. Case No.1059 of 2019.
