Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sankarpur P.S. Case No. 42 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 25(1-b)s, 26 of the Arms Act and Section 20/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

The prosecution story in short is that on 12.03.2022 at about 6:30PM, the informant came to know that 3

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20505 of 2023(2) dt.22-05-2023 2/3 miscreants have shot at Beldaur Canal. When the informant reached there, he saw that two persons have been shot dead. The informant tried to chase the accused persons and near 100 meters of South of Siphon Pul, he caught the accused persons. From the accused persons, one country made katta and 500 gm of Ganja and one Chilam has been recovored.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 14.03.2022 and 500 gm of ganja and one Chilam is alleged to have been recovered from Coaccused Rahul Kumar. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act 1st Madhepura/concerned Court below in connection with Sankarpur P.S. Case No. 42 of 2022.

The petitioner will visit Madhepura Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the
