The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 12341 of 2018, arising out of Bypass P.R. P.S. Case No. 151 of 2018 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 30.12.2018. He further submits that in the instant case 16.20 litres of foreign liquor was seized.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for approximately three months, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of
