JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 11-06-2020 The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Basantpur P. S. Case No. 30 of 2020 dated 30.01.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273, 308 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the prosecution report, it appears that 6.480 litres of liquor is recovered from the thatched house of petitioner no. 1 whereas the other recovery is said to have

Considering the gender of petitioner no. 1 and taking into account the other aspects of the matter, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Excise, Siwan in connection with Basantpur P. S. Case No. 30 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
