The writ petition has been filed for quashing the advertisement contained in Annexure 4, which is an advertisement issued by the Staff Selection Commission for

Patna High Court CWJC No.6400 of 2015(2) dt.26-03-2019 2/2 appointment of ANM.

As per averments made in the writ petition, the petitioners have participated in the process of selection pursuant to the said advertisement. Having been declared unsuccessful in the process of selection, the petitioners have filed the writ petition seeking annulment of the process of selection right from the stage of Advertisement No. 03030114. The claim of the petitioners appears to be based on the fact that since the petitioners have earlier discharged duties as ANM on contractual basis they ought to have been selected in the process of selection. Vague allegation of pick and choose have been averred in the writ petition. The challenge has been thrown after participating in the process of selection without any tangible ground.

This Court does not consider it a fit case for interfering with the process of selection.

The writ petition is devoid of merit and the same is dismissed.
