Versus

The State of Bihar .... .... Opposite Party ====================================================== Appearance :

For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Anuj Kumar For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Ramesh Chandra ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 28-03-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 23.8.2017 passed in Cr.Misc.No.38299 of 2017 on merit.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that in this case charge has been framed and two witnesses have been examined and they have not supported the prosecution case and petitioner is in custody since 2.2.2017.

Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and considering the fact that earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected and some witnesses are still to be examined, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, since the petitioner is in custody for more than

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17452 of 2018 (2) dt.28-03-2018 2/2 one year, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it as soon as possible, if possible, by conducting the trial on regular basis.
