2. The petitioner has prayed for grant of regular bail in connection with Pirbahore P.S. Case No. 684 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under sections 126(2), 115(2), 127(2), 125, 109, 140(1), 117(2), 21(2), 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023.
3. As per allegation in the FIR, six FIR named accused persons including the petitioner with a view to kill the informant, assaulted him by means of lathi-danda and iron rod as a result of which he got leg fracture and severe bodily injury over other parts. Police came there and brought the injured to P.M.C.H., Patna and then the present FIR.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15260 of 2025(2) dt.11-04-2025 2/2 that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to rivalry between the student union of the Patna University. General and omnibus allegation of assault has been levelled against him. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is languishing in judicial custody since 21.12.2024.
5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Pirbahore P.S. Case No. 684 of 2024.
