Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 413 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code.
A stolen motorcycle was recovered from behind the house of this petitioner which was suspected to be stolen by Vikash Tiwary and kept behind the house of the petitioner. Submission is that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The recovery was not from conscious possession of the petitioner. He is in custody since 21.12.2017. Investigation of the case is already complete and the petitioner is ready to cooperate with the trial.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17200 of 2018 (2) dt.28-03-2018 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Janta Bazar Police Station Case No. 193 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
