JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 24-06-2016 Learned counsel representing the National Institute of Open Schooling produces a Xerox copy of the result of the petitioner which has been declared earlier in the year 2014. It is also his submission that the result has been communicated to the centre to which the petitioner was attached. The petitioner should contact the centre on the basis of the Xerox copy which has already been handed over to the counsel for the needful.

Counsel for the petitioner thereafter submits that testimonials in original deposited by the petitioner before the authorities of National Institute of Open Schooling should be

Counsel for the National Institute of Open Schooling informs the Court that there are certain regulations and rules which are in place with regard to such return. The authorities can only return what is returnable and they have obligation to withhold certain testimonials which cannot be returned.

Whatever the petitioner wants return of the original, he should write in specifics so that the authorities can decide on the request of the petitioner. Such decision must be taken within a period of eight weeks of the petitioner making the request. Writ application now stands disposed of in terms of the above.
