JUSTICE MIHIR KUMAR JHA ORAL JUDGMENT 23-04-2015 Heard learned counsel for the parties as with regard to the following prayer made in this writ application: "1. ...... is directed for payment of 12.5% admissible rate of interest for the year 1985-86 to 1998-99 in terms of Government Resolution No. 4184 and 4193 dated 13.07.1985 and also up to date statutory interest from the date of retirement to till the date of actual payment as contained in Annexure-01 top this writ petition."

2. Having regard to the admitted position that upon retirement of the petitioner on 30.06.2009, he had been paid his retirement benefit, his only grievance now raised in this writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.5312 of 2015 (2) dt.23-04-2015 2/2 application after six years for payment of certain amount of interest on the head of G.P.F. should be looked into by the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Patna and District Provident Fund Office and if they find that any such amount of interest is payable, they will pass an appropriate order and also ensure its payment within a period of four months form the date of receipt of a copy of this order which has to be filed by the petitioner alongwith a self contained representation. If, on the other hand, they find that the petitioner is not entitled for such payment of additional interest on the head of G.P.F., they would reject such prayer of the petitioner giving reasons in support of it and also communicate it to the petitioner within the same period.

3. With the aforementioned observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
