This application for regular bail arises out of Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 227 of 2018, disclosing offence punishable under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.
The FIR was registered against unknown. The petitioner's name transpired on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Ravindra Kumar made before the police during the course of investigation. Said Ravindra Kumar has been allowed regular bail by this Court by an order dated 31.10.2018, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 60330 of 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that the petitioner is in custody since 05.05.2018.
Considering the fact that co-accused Ravindra Kumar
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16109 of 2020(2) dt.02-06-2020 2/2 has been allowed regular bail by this Court, on the basis of whose confessional statement the petitioner's name surfaced, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount, each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-IXth, Vaishali at Hajipur in Hajipur Town P.S. Case No. 227 of 2018.
