The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 08-12-2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44615 of 2017 by which the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 20 of 2015 pending in the court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nawada and the petitioner was directed to surrender and furnish bail bond in the court below within a period of six weeks. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner had gone outside the State to earn his livelihood and that is why, he could not surrender and furnish bail bond in the court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15213 of 2019(2) dt.14-03-2019 2/2 well within the time. It is further prayed on behalf of the counsel for the petitioner that further time may be extended so that the petitioners could surrender and furnish bail bond in the court below.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the period of surrender of the petitioner in the court below is extended for a further period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The rest of the conditions shall remain the same as mentioned in the order dated 08-12-2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44615 of 2017.

The order dated 08-12-2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44615 of 2017 is modified to the extent as indicated above. The modification application is, accordingly, disposed of.
