2. This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 23.07.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 12804 of 2017, wherein, this Court while dismissing the writ petition had provided that if any petition is filed, the Circle Officer, Sherghati, Gaya shall dispose of the petition of the petitioner within six months from the date of filing of such petition. The writ petition pertains to correction of record of rights of a land.

3. The petitioner has filed a representation before the

Patna High Court MJC No.777 of 2019(5) dt.25-04-2025 2/2 Circle Officer, Sherghati, Gaya which is annexed as Annexure-2 to the writ petition.

4. Opposite Party No. 5 - the Circle Officer, Sherghati, Gaya has filed a show cause, wherein, it has been stated that with reference to the representation filed by the petitioner which pertains to a plot of land, the same is sub-judice before the Civil Appellate Court.

5. Under the circumstances, I am of the view that there is no willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 23.07.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 12804 of 2017 by the Circle Officer, Sherghati, Gaya.

6. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed and disposed of.
