The petitioner has been in custody since 20.09.2017 in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No. 9 of 2014 for the offence registered under Sections 341, 342, 323, 325, 326, 307, 302, 427, 120B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner is not named in the first information report subsequently, on the confessional statement made before the police by one Ranjit Kumar, the petitioner has been implicated in this case, which has no evidentiary value. It is further submitted that co-accused Ranjit Kumar has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 22.12.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29821 of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11652 of 2018 (2) dt.08-03-2018 2014.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Sadar Motihari in connection with Rajepur P.S.
