Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Four persons were apprehended in the Army Area, Danapur and it revealed that the co-accused Suraj Kumar Tiwari had brought these petitioners to get their appointment in the Army after taking illegal gratification from the petitioners. Same is the confessional statement of co-accused Suraj Kumar Tiwari.

Submission is that, in fact, petitioners were

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11048 of 2018 (2) dt.27-02-2018 2/2 victim of cheating committed by Suraj Kumar Tiwari and no offence is alleged to have committed by the petitioners in the premise of the Army Area.

Considering the entire facts aforesaid, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Shahpur Police Station Case No. 246 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
