JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-05-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State via video conferencing. The petitioner has filed the present application under Sections 439 and 440 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of bail in connection with Muffasil (Singhaul) P.S. Case No. 424 of 2019 (G.R. No. 667 of 2019) registered under Sections 290 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Regard being had to the period of more than eight months undergone by the petitioner in custody for the alleged recovery of 71.265 litres of foreign liquor and co-accused Kanhaiya Kumar has already been granted bail by a co-ordinate

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16119 of 2020(2) dt.13-05-2020 2/2 Bench of this Court vide order dated 21.01.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 87154 of 2019, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5000/- (five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum- Special Judge Excise Act, Begusarai in Muffasil (Singhaul) P.S. Case No. 424 of 2019 (G.R. No. 667 of 2019).
