On limited issue having been raised at the time of hearing on behalf of the petitioner, this writ application is being disposed of with a liberty granted to the petitioner to file his objection under section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914(hereinafter to be referred to as "the Act") within a period of three weeks. On such representation having been filed by the petitioner, let the Certificate Officer concerned consider the same and pass reasoned order in accordance with law after granting reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.

It goes without saying that if the petitioner does not file his objection under section 9 of the Act then the Certificate Officer

Patna High Court CWJC No.6327 of 2015 (3) dt.22-05-2015 would be at liberty to proceed in accordance with law for recovery of the certificate amount.
