The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 63 of the Copy Right Act.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner is alleged to have involved in selling duplicate cosmetic items in the name of Hindustan Unilever. During raid, duplicate cosmetic items were seized from the shop of this petitioner.

It is submitted that the shop in question does not belong to this petitioner. This case has been lodged only on assumption. Similarly situated co-accused have been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 15.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 3559 of 2023. Petitioner

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Araria P.S. Case No. 327 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
