JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-04-2015 Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to make correction in the petition.

The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 408, 409 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that in the Kharif marketing season of 201314 under Rupouli Block, 1130.305 metric tone paddy were purchased out of which 790.594 metric tone paddy was made available to the millers and rest 339.711 metric tone paddy was being shown in the stock at paddy purchase centre. From verification of the go-down, it was found that 290.711 metric tone paddy were missing. It is alleged that in-charge of the go-down was Diwakar Singh. The petitioner was an assistant there. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10229 of 2015 (2) dt.24-04-2015 2/2 the petitioner is a pregnant lady. Moreover, the petitioner claims to have transmitted letter dated 01.04.2014 to the informant and other officials for alternative arrangement for keeping the paddy since the go-down was full.

Considering the fact that the thrust of accusation is against Diwakar Singh and the petitioner is a pregnant lady, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Purnea in connection with Rupauli P.S. Case No. 216 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
