Case No. 81 of 2016 registered under sections 341, 323, 498-A and 302/34 IPC, petitioners seek anticipatory bail.
The deceased is the daughter of the informant who died in the matrimonial home 15 years after the marriage. It is submitted that the victim was carrying advanced pregnancy. She developed complication and was taken to the hospital, but on the way she died. No external injury was found by the doctor on her person. The rupture of the uterus and internal bleeding probably caused the death of the victim. It is further stated that they are not husband. The husband is morally and legally obliged to protect the wife against any possible atrocity. Vide order dated 16.05.2017 (Annexure-2) co-accused(s) Shankar Chaudhary and Chunmuna Devi, in the facts and circumstances of the case, have been granted anticipatory bail.
