Petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498 (A), 34 of Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of dowry Prohibition Act.

It is a case of demand of dowry.

Petitioner is mother-in-law of the informant. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is separate in mess and business. Thrust of allegation is against the husband of the victim.

Learned counsel for the informant opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of C.J.M. Jehanabad in connection with Kako P.S. Case No. 312 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
