Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1016 of 2018 registered for the offence under sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 01.12.2022 the matter was sent to the mediation center for settling the dispute between the parties. The mediation report has been received and is kept at Flag - B. Perusal of the report shows that the dispute between the parties have been settled on certain terms and conditions attached

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15687 of 2022(4) dt.12-04-2023 2/2 therewith. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistate, 9th Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Complaint Case No. 1016 of 2018 subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
