Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 21(B), 27(A) and 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. The petitioner is daughter of co-accused, namely Sanjay Prasad. From the rented house of co-accused Sanjay Prasad 100 grams of heroin like substance was allegedly recovered. Submission is that Sanjay Prasad has already been allowed bail by this Court vide order dated 01.05.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 26100 of 2018 considering the period of custody of Sanjay Prasad as well as non-compliance of mandates of Section 50 of the NDPS Act at the time of seizure. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27155 of 2018 (2) dt.07-05-2018 2/2 above named, who is a female, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 24 of 2017 arising out of Ara Nawada Police Station Case No. 262 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
