JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 02-03-2020 The petitioners seek bail in connection with Barauni Rail P.S. Case No. 1 of 2020 dated 03.01.2020 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 in which they are in custody since 03.01.2020.

114 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from the platform of a railway halt and the petitioners are alleged to have unloaded the aforesaid consignment of liquor by a truck.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they had parked the vehicle and were about to go to their homes when they were falsely implicated in this case by showing the aforesaid recovery from the platform.

No.13197 of 2020(2) dt.02-03-2020 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts the petitioners above named are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge Iind-cum-Special Judge, Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, Begusarai in connection with Barauni Rail P.S. Case No. 1 of 2020.
