17-08-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

Informant had alleged that while she was staying at her Nana place, her cousin brother Subhash Kumar Yadav along with his brother-in-law Monu Kumar Yadav (Petitioner) came in order to make customary visit. While they were staying, Surpanch 'Pati' Arvind Yadav, Mantun Yadav, Palti Yadav, Chhnu Lal Yadav along with others came assaulted Subhash and Monu and further directed that you (Monu) should marry with her (informant). On protest made by the informant, she along with Monu was closed in a room and then thereafter, they forcibly got them married with a further instruction to leave the village otherwise they will have to face dire consequence. Out of fear she along with Monu gone to Delhi and therefrom, Monu slipped. That happens to be the statement of the victim under Section 164 Cr.P.C. also.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34366 of 2017 (4) dt.17-08-2017 Considering the statement of the informant/victim, petitioner Monu Kumar Yadav @ Monu Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Madhepura in connection with Shankarpur P.S. Case No.127/2016.
