The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, these petitioners committed murder of daughter of the informant by strangulation.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioners that informant is not eye-witness and only on suspicion and due to old enmity, petitioners have been made accused. Name of the petitioners have been purposely and deliberately dragged in the present

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14985 of 2022(2) dt.23-08-2022 2/2 case at the instance of informant, who was in inimical terms. As a matter of fact, daughter of the informant had become pregnant and due to humiliation, she committed suicide. Both parties are co-villagers and next door neighbours. Petitioners have clean antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of petitioners.

Considering the fact that petitioners are named in the F.I.R. and there is specific accusation that these petitioners committed murder of daughter of the informant, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioners is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) anay/- U T
