2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 642 of 2022, lodged on 20.07.2022, under Sections 341/323/324/326/302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution, the FIR has been lodged against nine accused persons including the petitioner. The specific allegation of repeated assault on the deceased is against the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the antecedent of the petitioner is clean. He is in custody since 23.03.2023. Counsel fairly submits that there is direct allegation of assault against the petitioner. Counsel submits that the

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is direct allegation of assault against the petitioner.

6. In this background, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused. However, the petitioner may renew the prayer for bail after framing of the charge.
