The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 28-07-2017 in Nawada (Town) P.S. Case No. 494 of 2017 registered for offence under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail. The petitioner is in custody on accusation of recovery of about 180 liters of country-made liquor from the vehicle of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn my attention to the statement made in paragraph - 3 of the petition to show that petitioner is having clean antecedent.
