The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Durgawati P. S. Case No.308 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 414, 420, 467, 468, 471, 401, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30((a)(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. Altogether 1872.72 litres of liquor is said to have recovered from Tata 407 truck as detailed in the F.I.R. along with some other articles.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and he is in custody since 16.12.2020 and he is a person with clean antecedents. Charge-sheet has been

Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail petition.

Considering the facts afore-stated, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge- 2nd ,-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Durgawati P. S. Case No.308 of 2020.

The application stands allowed.
