JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL ORDER 18-04-2025 The instant application has been filed praying for modification of the order dated 14.11.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no.75042 of 2024 so far as the petitioner is concerned. By the said order anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner in connection with Murliganj P.S. Case no. 372 of 2023 directing her to surrender in the learned Court below within a period of four weeks.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not surrender in the learned Court below for reasons beyond her control as stated in the petition. It is further submitted that in compliance of the directions of this Court cost of Rs. 5000/- has been deposited with the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee vide receipt no. 2399 dated 8.4.2025

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15501 of 2025(3) dt.18-04-2025 2/2 and the receipt is produced for being taken on record.

3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submissions made, the Court is satisfied that the petitioner has made out a case for modification of the order dated 14.11.2024.

4. The application is allowed.

5. The order dated 14.11.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no.75042 of 2024, so far as the petitioner is concerned, is modified to the extent that the period mentioned therein for the petitioner to surrender is extended by a further period of four weeks from today.

6. The remaining part of the order dated 14.11.2024 (Annexure-P/1) shall remain unchanged.
