05-03-2020 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Jokihat P.S. Case No. 290 of 2016 registered for the offence under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, it is case of dowry death due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Petitioner is husband of the deceased and there is specific allegation of demand of dowry coupled with torture and assault, resulting into death of the deceased.

In view of specific allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J.) anay U T
