ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 16-12-2024 Leaned counsel appearing behalf of the petitioner has stated that the authorities have paid the admitted due to the petitioner but however they have not paid the interest on the delayed payment. Learned counsel has stated that the works were completed way back in the year 2014 and the part of balance amounts have been paid only in the year 2024. Learned counsel has, therefore, prayed that the authorities may be directed to pay the interest part.

2. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already been paid the admitted due, the present writ petition is

Patna High Court CWJC No.4195 of 2024(6) dt.16-12-2024 2/2 disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make a suitable representation to the authorities concerned for the payment of interest within a period of four weeks from today. On such representation being given, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and necessary orders passed within a period of eight weeks thereof.

3. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
