====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 14-07-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.
2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 118(1), 76, 303(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. Prosecution case, in brief, is that on 28.10.2025, this petitioner was quarreling with informant and when daughter of the informant intervened, petitioner tried to outrage her modesty and assaulted her and other family members by means of lathi, danda, etc. It is further alleged that the accused also snatched Mangalsutra and chain.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Both parties are close-door neighbours and due to petty dispute, an altercation took place in which both sides sustained injuries.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14225 of 2026(4) dt.14-07-2026 2/2 Injuries sustained by the injured are simple in nature. Rest of the allegations are ornamental only to make the case grave. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering backdrop of the case, nature of accusation, injury and clean antecedent, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Siwan in connection with Darauli P. S. Case No. 290 of 2025, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
