Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during pendency of the writ application the payment, towards the suspension period between
Patna High Court CWJC No.7623 of 2019(5) dt.12-12-2023 2/2 31.07.2008 and 09.05.2011, has been made to the petitioner but without any interest, accordingly, he prays for grant of interest. Upon query, learned counsel failed to produce any statutory provision for grant of interest upon the arrears of salary, for the suspension period. Accordingly, the prayer for interest upon the due amount is rejected. Since the payment has been made, this application has become infructuous.
2. Accordingly, the present writ application is disposed as infructuous.
