The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gamhariya P.S. Case No. 100 of 2017 dated 21.07.2017 which has been instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Ninety Five bottles of illicit liquor was allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been falsely implicated in the case. In fact, he has been carrying out his vocation of running poultry and repairing generator machines.

The petitioner is in custody since 22.07.2017. Taking into account the period of custody, this Court

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46025 of 2017 (3) dt.28-11-2017 is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, IV, Madhepura in connection with Gamhariya P.S. Case No. 100 of 2017.
