JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 25-04-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 414/120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act. A looted country-made pistol and cartridges were allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 24.08.2017.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on completion of nine months of custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
