Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Hilsa PS Case No.167 of 2017, registered under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that the daughter of the informant committed suicide for the reason that the petitioner two days back had outraged her modesty for which a separate case was instituted.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the so called suicide note does not disclose the name of the petitioner and on earlier occasion also, the petitioner was falsely implicated in the case of outraging modesty.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and

No.30137 of 2018(2) dt.15-05-2018 2/2 circumstances, petitioner Priya Ranjan Bharti @ Sonu @ Sonu Chaudhary is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Hilsa PS Case No.167 of 2017.
