2. The present application for grant of regular bail has been preferred in connection with Khaira PS case No.294 of 2024 for offences under Sections 317(2) to 317(4) of B.N.S.

3. On perusal of the First Information Report, it would go to show that the informant is the Police Officer and as they were searching for a stolen motorcycle, apprehended one person, who disclosed his name as Niraj Kumar, the petitioner, and also disclosed the name of the person who had fled away as Ranjit Kumar Singh. It has been stated in the F.I.R. itself that the petitioner disclosed to the Police Officers that the motorcycle, used to be brought by Ranjit Kumar Singh and was

The learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner is nowhere involved in either the theft of the motorcycle or in the process of sale of the motorcycle. He submits that the petitioner is merely a mechanic, who was hired to open the parts of the motorcycle on payment of labor charges and hence, he had no role to play in the entire offence.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 18.12.2024, I'm inclined to grant the petitioner the privilege of bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount, each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Khaira P.S Case No.294 of 2024.
