2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 491 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363/498-A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.

3. Earlier, the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 17.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 45067 of 2023.

4. The victim has not yet been recovered and neither her dead body was recovered.

5. A report was called for from the Superintendent of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17816 of 2024(4) dt.28-06-2024 2/2 Police, West Champaran who has sent his report on 08.05.2024.

6. From the report it appears that informant and his wife has deposed that the victim was mentally ill and without informing anyone, she use to leave the house. The informant has also compromised the case with the petitioner.

7. In these circumstances, the petitioner who is in jail since 27.02.2023 is granted bail.

8. Let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah concerned court in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 491 of 2022.
