The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Sections 341, 323, 324, 354, 379, 504, 506 the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3(i)(x)(xi) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

The informant alleged that the petitioner demanded toddy from his sister-in-law. When the sister-in-law of the informant replied that she does not sell toddy, the petitioner is said to have abused her and also assaulted the informant. It is submitted that the petitioner is next-door neighbour of the informant. Some verbal altercation took place due to non-supply of toddy and this false case has been lodged. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16215 of 2016 (3) dt.01-07-2016 2/2 in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari in Rajepur P.S. Case No. 97/2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
