The petitioner seeks bail in Galgalia P.S. Case No.2 of 2020, corresponding to Special Case No.23 of 2020 registered under Sections 30(a) and 41(1) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police intercepted a vehicle bearing registration No.BR-04-GA3502. The driver(Dhanbabu Sharma) of the vehicle was arrested and on his disclosure, 807.375 liters foreign liquor of different brands was recovered. Dhanbabu Sharma, driver of the vehicle, who was carrying liquor under vegetables, disclosed that the petitioner fled away. Later on, petitioner was arrested.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no manner of concern with the consignment. It

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II, Special Judge(Excise), Kishanganj in connection with Special Case No.23 of 2020, arising out of Galgalia P.S. Case No.2 of 2020.
