The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 47 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

This is a case of misuse of bail.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was on bail. He is a poor person and went outside the Bihar to earn his livelihood and his conducting Lawyer left the pairvi in the case without his knowledge and his bail bond was cancelled on 04.09.2017. After knowing this fact, he surrendered on 16.12.2017. He has been sufficiently punished for

In the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise, Lakhisarai in connection with Case No.9C2/1998.
