JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-05-2024 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Patna, to dispose off the application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms license bearing Arms License Application No. 1228/43422 dated 14.9.2023.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the Respondents submits that in case, the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms license, is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Patna, to

Patna High Court CWJC No.3874 of 2024(2) dt.02-05-2024 2/2 dispose off the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms license, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order. 4.
