====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE DR. ANSHUMAN ORAL ORDER 12-01-2023 Heard proxy counsel Santosh Kumar on behalf of the petitioner, counsel for the State and counsel for the Bank and counsel for the A.G., Bihar present.

The present application has been filed for payment of revised family pension to the petitioner, who is widow of government employee, retired as Assistant Teacher from High School, Bhupatti, District Madhubani. It was mentioned that

Patna High Court CWJC No.4735 of 2022(2) dt.12-01-2023 2/2 initially pension of her husband was fixed as Rs.1567/- w.e.f. 01.05.1996. Her husband died on 14.03.2008 and, thereafter she was started getting family pension and vide letter no. Pension - 10, 421 issued by the A.G., Bihar, dated 26.08.2020, she was getting Rs.2970/- w.e.f. 01.04.1997 and according to her claim, the family pension should be Rs.6713/- w.e.f. 15.03.2008 for which she has filed the present case.

Counter affidavit and supplementary counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the A.G., Bihar, in which it has been stated that the petitioner is entitled to receive Rs.6713/- as a family pension and also intimated that this matter is relating to the concerned Treasury Office.

It is clear from Annexure-R 8/2 that Treasury Officer, Madhubani has intimated to the Branch Manager, P.N.B. to assure the said payment Rs.6713/- w.e.f. 15.03.2008 to the petitioner.

In this view of the matter, the present writ application is disposed off as the grievances of the petitioner has been resolved.
