The petitioners, namely, Ranju Devi and Kamlesh Sah, apprehend their arrest in a case under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 504, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(i)(x) of the SC/ST Act.

The informant alleged that while he was taking water from a tube well, the petitioners abused him by naming his caste and assaulted him also. It is submitted that the informant was forcibly taking water and on being asked not to do such act, the case has been lodged. Now the case is compromised. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioners and the fact that the case is compromised, the above named petitioners, in the event of their

No.16180 of 2016 (2) dt.02-05-2016 2/2 arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari in Patahi P.S. Case No. 198/2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
