JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 18-07-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 7.8.2017 passed in Cr.Misc.No.22401 of 2017 and allegation against the petitioner is that he caused death of the deceased and petitioner is husband of the deceased. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is in custody for about two years and till date there is no substantive progress in trial.

Heard learned APP and from perusal of report it appears that out of 11 charge sheeted witnesses four have been examined and process has been issued for the remaining witnesses, including I.O.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34988 of 2018 (4) dt.18-07-2018 2/2 the petitioner. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial by conducting it on regular basis so that trial may be concluded as soon as possible. At the same time, Superintendent of Police, Sitamarhi is directed to see that the witnesses are produced in court on the date fixed.
