Mr. Yogendra Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 02-03-2020 The petitioners seek bail in connection with Pasraha P.S. Case No. 06 of 2020 dated 18.01.2020 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018 in which they are said to be in custody since 18.01.2020. It appears that 107.640 litres of liquor was recovered from the boot of the car in which the petitioner was travelling.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were only gratuitous passengers and did not know that liquor was being transported in the said vehicle.

Considering the aforestated facts and the clean

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13201 of 2020(2) dt.02-03-2020 2/2 antecedents of the petitioners, they are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Khagaria in connection with Pasraha P.S. Case No. 06 of 2020.
