In the present application filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure the petitioner seeks quashing of the first information report of Complaint Bairgania P.S. Case No. 136 of 2013 registered under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The allegations made in the FIR do attract the ingredients of the offences alleged.
