This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Barachatti P.S.Case No.71 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 & 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner, as per F.I.R., is that more than 4000 ltrs. of liquor have been recovered from the Truck and the owner of that truck has stated that he has transferred the ownership of the Truck in the name of the petitioner. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is not owner of that Truck and even ownership of the Truck has not been transferred in his favour as well nothing has been recovered from his possession. He is in custody for two

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of huge quantity of the liquor, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after completion of three months' custody in the meantime, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
