The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of The Essential Commodities Act.
365 bags of wheat being transported through truck were seized suspected to be transported for being black marketing. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a registered wholesale dealer and there is no control order restricting transportation of wheat, hence the informant has maliciously lodged the present case to harass the petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12
